Spiderman's main focus seems to be quickly getting in ( unnoticed when possible ), doing a strong combo as a and getting out quickly. Constant harassment of supports will heavily cripple the enemy team.

Best bets in these situations is to take on people who are distracted by your team, this is genuinely the best time to catch people off-guard. Squishy targets being far easier to kill then tanks.

Be careful of shoot people with web shots too early, as these will alert them. Had a spiderman shoot me before attempting a combo and I was almost always able to get away because it tipped me off super early as Rocket.
As someone who just got him to Centurion last night I have a few things to say:

The bot matches in Quick Match made me a better Spider-man. Because of their lock on and auto aim, they quickly teach you how to stay alive.

I see a lot of Spider-men try to play him like you would Black Panther, and flank and try to pick and assassinate, but I found him to be FAR more effective if you play him like Wolverine and travel with the team, zipping in to targets you mark with the Tracers, comboing and uppercutting, and then double jump and zip out back to your team for heals or to the nearest healthpack (more on that later).
Don't worry if you don't get the kill or KO, because if you keep this up you will get plenty and you will be constantly helping your team in the process.

Lastly, always know where your nearest healthpack is and prioritize running to that if you took damage after the combo. This keeps pressure off your healers and if someone is dumb enough to chase you, you are more likely to get that assassination, and at the very least you remove them from the team fight temporarily. After you grab the healthpack, if you weren't chased, head back to your team and either repeat what you just did or help them with divers.
dont play spiderman. pick wanda and throw for even touching spidermans character. :) hope this helps!

Don't hit e absolutely every time you land a tracer, just getting healers to look around, waste their self heals or escape tools and play paranoid is a win. Learn to recognize opportunities to score picks but if the opponents are playing too grouped, don't be afraid to switch. Learn your cancels and enemy health values to understand what combos kill what characters. Web zipping into the back line or at an opponent's feet and hitting uppercut can be a great way to get enemies to turn around at the wrong moment without burning your e. Be conservative with your resources. If your plan is harassment, you don't need to spend an extra swing to drop on an enemy and hit f since gravity will get you there just as easily. There's a lot to SM beyond just getting kills, but the effectiveness of the right harassment at the right time isn't going to be on the scoreboard.
