2 Losses or More put you in a bot match to feed you fake wins.
Why? The game is great I've been enjoying it wether I win or lose. If I lose 10 games in a row, tough deal but that also means I can improve. And in all honesty, it doesn't matter. Losing is part of the experience just like winning. I don't want to get into competitive the way I used to on Overwatch due to the toxic sweatfest that it is. I keep it to quick play because it's where the game is fun. But now I found out after testing that if you lose 2 or more games in a row, the game feeds you a fake win by putting you and 2 or 3 teammates into a match against weak bots. This very clearly is meant to feed you dopamine by making you destroy the ennemy team so that losing a few games doesn't make you quit the game. It's incredibly manipulative and quite honestly if Netease is manipulative about wins to keep players addicted, what else are they lying about? This is the most insulting and manipulative a studio has been towards its player base since Blizzard's bait and switch with the OW2 campaign.
I do not believe that anyone is pathetic enough to quit a game after 2 or 3 losses. And I think that not standing up to these practices from studios shows a clear lack of respect for yourself and a clear lack of boundaries, which I don't think is the case for most players, fortunately. I just don't get it. The game is awesome and I've enjoyed every match. They don't need to act like a 1984 Big Brother to keep people playing. The game being good does that and it does it with honesty. Disappointing. I uninstalled the game after finding out and if they don't remove and I don't return then so be it. Respect yourselves, people. You're not a mouse in a cage waiting for the next dopamine hit of the reward circuit.

Now, how to identify bot matches?
- It will be very obvious when watching the replay through the POV of the ennemy team.
Robotic movements, aim locking missing on purpose, same trajectories when leaving spawn, etc.
- Vanilla, "blend-in" name such as "MrFluff"
- All of the bots profiles say that "The user has restricted access to their profiles". When it's a real player that set their profile to private, it says that they have "LIMITED" who can access their profile.
- Incredibly high score and easy win. You'll go 35/0 and spawn trap them.

It is already proven that bot games are real and I am totally with you my brother. I dont get it why bot-matches are part of the game!
games gonna be dead by summer
Question - how do you check a player's profile? I see a "check career" option that gives me the restricted profile message, but it doesn't always show up.
I've found a site that can do the checking for me, but it'd be nice to know how to do ingame.

So we know it's actually specifically 2-in-a-row?
It was probably done to help newer players not get discouraged and leave when they get destroyed by better players.

Just do ranked. No bot matches in ranked.

EOMM is a mathematically superior algo compared to traditional SBMM algos. You want that as a competitive player. You want as close to an even battle every time as possible, and God knows that gets to be difficult at higher rankings. Some people are waiting over an hour for a match at the highest levels.

To be honest I'd rather check profiles to see if they are overwatch players, just so I know I can disregard them.

Apart from everyone else on my team. Sometimes I wish I had bots so that they didn't throw hissy fits and refuse to play.

This is correct. They place you with bots in ranked games as well. Even with a winning record they still place you with bots.

I haven't seen a single bot in ranked. You got game IDs to prove the claim, or?

It'll probably end up being like the guy above you -- a teammate so bad you think it's a bot, but even a bot does better.

just go in history and view career profile. If it says RESTRICTED access, it's a bot. If it says Limited Access it's usually someone who doesn't like people being able to see their replays, usually smurfs or the occasional cheater.

Also yeah quickplay bots are just one of many reasons it's honestly better to just play ranked more often.

Oh really? Have you questioned ever single one of the players in each and every single game and taken a tally of whos a bot and whos not a bot? Please don't be a fool, you have certainly played against bots in a ranked game.

They will use every trick they can to keep you engaged and playing and thus more likely to buy skins since its f2p game. They judged that bot games would be a net positive for them instead of a negative.
