It is very broken. I used to enjoy the game but after finding out about bots in QP about a week ago and the ranking system being fixed and losing more than 6 games at a time. I have become that guy who gets a little pissed off now and yells at players or ends up quitting. The gaming system has made me bitter now. I became the one thing I hated!

dude today i have loss 6 games in a row and almost down from silver 1 almost gold 3 to silver 3
WTH is going on why is it like this it is terrible
If I lose two matches in a row, I just log off for a while and queue dodge. I'll log back in an hour or two later or the next day and the matches will feel better for a while but then it will start to feel like there is a massive skill gap between the teams or players on the same team again and I just log off.

I don't mind losing matches at all - IF they are good matches where both teams play hard but one team just won by outplaying the other at key moments. Unfortunately, it seems that there is such a huge skill disparity between players in the same lobby as a default.
It never changes either
its like this all the way up.

When it comes to the skill disparity i can more or less guarantee this is done on purpose, forget all the "EOMM" talk and just look at your team and opponents after matches directly after you play them. (use tracker.gg in this case)

I am 120 matches in, and i have kept track of my teams out of around 60-70 of them as i noticed a trend the first month in season 0.

The matchmaking is setting up teams where the majority are on losing streaks (for the losing team), with the winning team majority being on win streaks.
This has been the case in close to EVERY match i have played so far and started to get less obvious when i hit platinum (more even teams, but the team disparity can be felt still).

Majority of matches are one sided wins, or one sided losses.. there is barely anything in between.

And it's always the same thing.. supports that don't know what they are doing, DPS who run around aimlessly and do nothing.. tanks that go in and get mowed down in 2 seconds over and over... usually there will be one or two that have some inclination of what they are supposed to be doing but are completely hamstringed by the rest of the team.
Meanwhile the other team are having a jolly good old time picking off people one by one.

But hey, be thankful that within 3-6 losses you are more than likely getting on the other side and can stomp some heads for 3-4 matches until you get to do it all over again.

You can then factor in everyone "one tricking" to the point where they have no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue how to play anything else but that one character... and don't play that character well despite them being 30+ hours in.

The game does a HORRIBLE job of teaching people how to play... that then gets 10x worse by the matchmaking doing what i described above... you need to literally be a GM or higher level player in some of these matches to even make a dent on the other team.

The fact that every match between silver and diamond feel exactly the same should be telling that ranked just simply doesn't work if you want "fair" matches.

Generally if its that one sided its either done by a hacker or by God Players.

I had one of these today and report them and they got instantly banned: https://i.imgur.com/lj7fsn5.png

diamond and silver dont feel the same lol. I have 400 hours diamond 2 currently, most matches are not one sided, a majority of my losses are close matches where losing/winning the last fight was the deciding moment. I have gone on 10 game winning streaks and losing streaks around these ranks. I can also solo carry up to diamond playing a tank. Biggest case for losing is poor picks from teammates, you can still do well but be a bad pick vs an enemy team composition. Like if they are heavy dive and you dont pick hard counters, you will probably lose.
Solo queue not good for your health

We know but we don't have anyone to watch our backs. The last time I had real friends to game with, was in 2007/2010 on the xbox360. Great times in gaming.

A good video to watch on the matter.
A little tip - stop playing if you're on a losing streak. Mental state is a read deal in this game - playing when you're frustrated/tired/annoyed effects your performance massively.

A well designed game feels rewarding even when you lose - its fun either way. This isn't one of those games.

I watched his video, he is cherrypicking(means choosing facts carefully which fits into his narrative) A LOT especially in part about win/loss points, netease documents + presentatn and earning money from MR yt vids and coaching, of course he will glaze game it's his money source

or how about the fact that u can hit GM1 with winrate below 50%? or the fact that u can reach any high rank with 50%??? it's should be possible in an actual skill based games, rank in this game is just a cosmetic badge for casual players without meaning of skill

if u want to read about how matchmaking truly works here is a thread with an ACTUAL truth and calculations check this https://steamcommunity.com/app/2767030/discussions/0/600769761663596151/

Yeah, you have a point. I've read your thread also (your first message that is).
Even if all this is true, I still like the game, feels refreshing since I don't play TF2 anymore. My previous main game was Dead by Daylight (IYKYK it's a trash unbalanced mess with toxic af community). And I'm really happy to get away from it.
Even if the game puts trash players in your games for you to carry them - I can't play Ranked with such mentality: "there is no true ranks/skill, your actions doesn't matter", because I will most likely lose then. Mentality is a big part of those games.
I've watched Necros climbing from Unranked to Ranked with SM soloQ. Even he started to lose in Gold (which I'm currently stuck at), he had crazy amount of kills, but the team was so trash - he couldn't even carry them (which proves that EOMM indeed IS in the game).
Still, I will continue playing since there is no such game around to replace this one, and I like some multiplayer gaming.
