Customizeable Pins for Nameplate

Small icons you can attach somewhere on your nameplate, up to a max of 3-5. Things such as emojis, chibi versions of the heroes, objects you can find on the map, arrows, other symbols (but no letters), country flags, pride flags and whatnot.

They would only be visible when the full nameplate is displayed (e.g. in main menu or during loading screen) but I feel like these would add a ton of customization with just a small update, especially if we could place and rotate them however we want.

Yeah when it comes to customization there is alot you can do. for example every like 10 lvls you get a new frame or a pin which is more advanced than the one before or something. So that the account level is not completely pointless.
Chibi versions of the heroes as pins would be cool too.

Dont like the idea. It could be easily used in toxic way. Also most games with such features tend to lag or stutter when 'custom' images are loaded, like on kill cam. And for sure Devs would monetize on it. 👎

thought about the same issue, especially with how immature and toxic this game's community can be. however, that's exactly why i said no letters in specific.

probably not this game. it's pretty well optimized. and even if it did end up becoming a lag issue for lower end pcs, make it a toggleable feature to load on highlights, killcams etc. and only load in main menus and loading screens.

as with everything that's in the game.. there will atleast be f2p options like from events and the free part of the battle pass, but yeah, there probably will be ones that you need to pay for aswell. i don't exactly think that's a big deal? especially since they'll probably just be included in skin bundles like the nameplates, mvp cutscenes and emotes are right now.

- each character has their own pin when u reach LORD rank
- a free pin that automatically changes based on your current rank
- a free pin that shows your current amount of total career kills on every character
