Horrific Framedrops during Matches

Hi There.
I wanted to ask if anyone else has had this issue with Rivals where without warning, the game frame rate will drop significantly (Going down into the the 10's, or sometimes single digits) for seconds at a time, often happening multiple times per match.

None of the fixes i've found so far have done anything to solve the issue, not lowering the graphics to their lowest settings, i've updated my drives, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and I still cannot get the issue to go away. I understand that the game has had performance issue at least since the winter update, but it's at a point where it's just annoying. I wanted to know if anyone else has had this same issue, or there's some fix I haven't tried yet that might help me.

I have been having this issue since S1 patch and many others have had the issue as well
Currently it's an optimization bug. I am thinking it might be some weird memory leak issue but not sure. Nothing I have found so far has been able to fix it

I have horrible FPS drops as well.
RTX 3070 and a 9800X3D, 64GB 6000mhz cl30.
It happens on average every 10-15 games and doesn't go away until I restart the game.

I had occasional stuttering in matches after last update, and the solution was unusual, i realized stuttering occurs when i have hwmonitor running, because i was watching temperatures.
So maybe if you have such kind of software it could cause issues. Not sure why, it's on Win 11. So basically I just close Hwmonitor and the game is running normally again.

My game just locks up and freezes constantly. It's basically a toss-up if I'm going to have a laggy day or a good day. I get 210 FPS (I have the limit set to 120 so idk why it goes over) then I'll randomly lock up for like 30 seconds every 30 seconds. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ miserable and it turns even quick play into a rage fest because I can't even play the game.

I have an RTX 3070, Ryzen 7 5800X, 16 GB RAM. The game uses 100% memory and 100% disk the whole time it's running, and my system turns into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ potato after I close the game.

And all I find are people complaining along with me, and no fixes. HOW THE ♥♥♥♥ IS THIS GAME STILL THIS UNOPTIMIZED? HOW ARE THERE NO FIXES ANYWHERE ONLINE? I copy and pasted some DLL file in some directory and it fixed my game for like 2 days and after an update this game went back to a piece of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ AM I SUPPOSED TO DO? JUST NOT PLAY THE GAME? Does anyone have ANY idea of what to do? Please let me know.

do you have the lumen setting on? turning it off might help you with that

Just buy 16 GB more RAM and turn off file paging (virtual memory). The game needs almost 20 GB of ram to function properly on low settings.

It's not a memory issue.
The game uses at most 9.5GB RAM on the lowest setting from my experience. 16GB is enough.
I have 64GB RAM anyways.

I have a 4080ti and since the season 1 patch the game has performed like I'm using ferret's on a wheel to run the game. There should be an optimization patch every single week until we get back to season 0 performance. My aim in season 0 felt like butter. I'd rather just have that patch back than what we have now. We were sold a lie.

I don't think there's any solution on the player side except consistent complaining until Netease fixes it.

I play at 200+ FPS and it will randomly chug to 1-5 FPS for seconds at a time. It is completely unrelated to people using abilities because it can happen before spawn doors even open.

had the same issue. reset my graphics settings and restarted my pc. it was gone

It's weird I play at 200+ but it will drop to around 30. Only one map causes this issue.
