You can be the best 1v1 player in a game like this and still lose because it's a team effort.
Most of the time low heals = dived a lot for support. They won't just watch everyone get ko'd unless they are trolling or something intentional
So what does it mean when you’re losing games despite having good stats?
It could mean you got unlucky with matchmaking—but do you always get unlucky? Of course not. What’s really happening is that, even though you felt like you played well, you probably put a lot of effort into things that didn’t actually help your team win or play better as a unit. Chances are, with a bit less effort but better focus, you could’ve won the game.
You might be a good player individually, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you’re a good team player. Try to pay more attention to what’s happening with your teammates and help them play better. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how many kills you got as a DPS if you didn’t actually contribute to securing objectives.
Honestly, I think the devs should add stats like "Time on Objective" (Tank), "Objective Kills" (DPS), and "Healing on Objective" (Support) at some point. It would help a lot of players realize what they’re doing wrong.
is this the same guy that called me bad, but didn't have proof, so it was just baseless slander? Is this your hobby?
Is it the same guy or not? I am not sure.
I guess looking at the match replays could help.
yeah, forced wins and losses because of 50% winrate matchmaking. Nothing you can do.
The "best" dps on the losing side who's playing only for himself picking off safe kills while letting his team 5v6 and lose every fight is still going to lose every fight. I've played with a lot of Spider-Mans, Star Lords and Wandas, who are so involved in their positioning of diving one specific character over and over that they'll sure, go 10 and 6 when the rest of their team go 0 and 10, or they sit on our backline using healers as meat shields and make one opportunistic headshot a minute as Hela or Hawkeye and accomplish the same stats, or they stand as far back as possible and spam as Moon Knight and Squirrel Girl--but you're not creating any pressure in most of those scenarios if the other team has any kind of unity. Yeah, you get a pick here and there, and you'll go SVP, but they respawn in 10 seconds and your team is still fighting 5v6 (or worse) on the frontline cause you're in Narnia or playing super safe.
My advice is really to go back and replay some of those games and spectate what you're not seeing. Go and look at who has the pressure, who is giving space and who is taking it, and then adjust your playstyle to participate in that. Like, I'm not saying for sure that's what your specific problem is, but as someone who has to fill the tank role a lot, there's a huge problem with dps randoms not engaging with the teamwork part of the gameplay.
Don't get me wrong, could be the losing streak doing it too. People either play too coward or too brave and depending on if your team is on the same page or not that can blow the whole game too.
