New Patch affecting aspect ratio/resolution/game size

I didn't have an issue with this two days, but after the most recent patch, I am having issues where the game "shrinks".

I currently have a 1440p monitor, but I played the game in 1080P (1920x1080) for frame rate reasons. However, after the patch, if I try to play on 1080, the game simply becomes smaller or "windowed" with a black border around it, effectively making it 1080 without taking up the full screen. If I try bordered window, the option to change the resolution disappears. Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone know of a potential solution?

Hye does this problem has been solve? After the season update. My systems has been so bad,playing using 2k monitor with all low setting but still didn't achive good fps. So want to play on 1080p but cannot go borderless
