Wish people would stop putting so much focus on immutable characteristics like race and skin color but I know that's never gonna happen. Sad.
I do not like that Rival's version of Blade has cornrows, though.
That's totally a plausible thing that might really go in the game. I'm curious if they can make Morbius not suck.
I bet Dracula and Blade will have some fun voicelines in the spawns too.
Additionally, dismissing existing Black characters because of their visibility (like a fully suited hero) doesn’t change the fact that they are still part of the game. What matters more is how well these characters are represented, their impact in the game, and the variety of playstyles they bring.
If the concern is about wanting more standout Black heroes with unique designs, it would be more productive to advocate for specific additions rather than implying the game has none. Given Marvel’s vast roster, it’s reasonable to expect more diverse characters in future updates.
