That's awesome, but there's like, three of you guys and like a billion instalock DPS.
Also, attitude helps. I hate tanking because I never get to choose it, it's just a stupid chore that's thrust upon me. I didn't hate it in OW once role queue went in because i was guaranteed proper support and I only did it if I wanted to. As it is, I get to play about 2/3 support and 1/3 tank, never DPS because instalockers take those roles and will happily throw the match before they leave it (and if you get in first they'll just go DPS ANYWAY, which shouldn't even be permitted once there's 3.)
Yeah but it doesn't matter. I want to play the other two roles! Or, you know, choose what I want to play, not be forced to solo tank on magneto AGAIN.
It's almost impossible for me to DPS without meaning the team goes without a tank.
In QP who cares really?
The other team, which will have two tanks 150% of the time.
Sorry, I meant that the other team will play tanks even if you don't in QP and you'll just get wrecked.
Just had to fill tank AGAIN too.
I do the damage and take the damage.
I take a lot more damage that I get heals though.
Rarely do I play tank properly because as soon as the healer gets HDD and wanders off, I insta die because I have taken up an offensive position to both tank and thin their numbers.
Usually I just play my tarantula style tanking unless I trust the healer.
Most healers want to heal the DD that have no concept of how a tank is supposed to take the damage and get the majority of the heals.
Instead they push too hard, take the healer with them, die and take the healer with them.
Then the other team pushes and the rest of us being 6vs4 with no healer then dies.
By the time make it back to the front, the idiot DD and idiot healer have already suicided.
Then after a few mins of this, I rage quit, because they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unworthy of my time.
Role queue improved the hell out of Overwatch. It also made me mix up what I played a lot - as a tank I was guaranteed two tanks as a healer, and since I wasn't coerced into it, I didn't resent tanking. So I actually played tank. I also played DPS a fair amount too because it wouldn't guarantee a trash composition like it does usually.
