Ban Appeal for Marvel Rivals Account
Hi Marvel Rivals Support Team,

I'm reaching out because my account was banned, and I haven't been able to connect with support on Discord. I'd like to explain a few things that might have led to this situation.

Technical Issues:
My system (14th-gen Intel 14900KF) has been experiencing repeated game crashes. I tried several fixes—BIOS tweaks, running XTU, and more—but the instability might have affected my gameplay.

In-Game Performance:
Even though I'm relatively new to Marvel Rivals, I had some early success that might have raised eyebrows. I've been gaming for years with a background in titles like Overwatch and CS, and that experience sometimes shows in my gameplay. I have friends and fellow gamers who can vouch for my skills (not a pro, really), and my partner's account is also a good reference for our in-game performance.

Please watch my game replays and deduce from that.
I Invested much in this steam account and never cheated on online-multiplayer games ;).
I appreciate your time in reviewing my case.
I look forward to your guidance on how we can resolve this.

Thanks for your help,

I’m the partner, this ban just doesn’t feel right.

Could Marvel Rivals Customer Support do something about it using this platform?

Thanks for your help,
im confused you were banned because your pc is dying or you were banned because you were doing mysteriously good and now saying it was because of an unstable system ??? if your system is unstable why are you playing games to begin with ??? wouldnt you do the logical thing and use one of the millions of stress testers out there to avoid potential bans ????

The game is unstable, not the computer system. Many people have this problem with this game only specifically. So punishing and banning someone because the game has bugs and crash is not right.

how is it unstable ??? not being smart i honestly dont know i havent had any issues myself other then the useless matchmaking
I already stress-tested my PC, updated my BIOS, cleaned the graphics drivers, and installed both the latest and previous updates.

Now that I've done all that, my game seems to run fine without sudden crashes or weird shader compiling issues.

Anyway, the easiest way to prove I'm not cheating is by just watching the replays—it’s a super simple way to solve the issue.

Other than that, do you get banned in-game for getting multiple reports? I’d assume that when you get a lot of reports, some agent reviews your gameplay and decides whether you're cheating or not. But if that’s the case, it seems like the agent has zero knowledge of competitive shooters.

The "Punisher" gets a temporary "wall-hack" on enemies that are hit.

Computer systems are complex and games might crash more often on other systems than you have. It's a known issue and lot of people have this issue only with this game. Just because you don't have an issue does not invalidate others problems. Think before you type.

yea but that makes no difference if your on wifi because thats not a stable connection if youre using wifi then that is why you were banned because it acts like a lag switch which is an actual cheat.. not calling you a cheat im just saying that a lag switch is a known thing and bad wifi looks similar

I am assuming the game is supposed to handle such cases within it's anti cheat logic.
I would have liked to know if my account was even reported by players.
and if so, does the amount of reports like a whole team affect the banning procedure?

im certain players do affect the bans if a whole team reported ...and yes you would assume anti cheat would be handling it but honestly would you trust anti cheat to do the right thing and not just go off the number of reports in front of it ... have a feeling you were having some desync issues from wifi or something related and the players all reported in more than one match which would set the anti cheat to ban im assuming

I don't know what are my options...
Discord has some issues with verifying my phone which makes the Marvel Rivals chat to be disabled everywhere,

There has to be another solution other than quitting the game,

unfortunately i havent seen them reply to anyone on here so the only way would be through discord or report it to steam maybe

Nobody here can give you the answer you're looking for. It's all just speculations if you were banned contact the support instead of opening a community board post. People being wrongfully banned isn't really common as far as I can tell.
