EOMM
So if EOMM is really a thing and we are forced to lose 50% of the matches then...

...How you explain this?

What excuse you have for this? I have 79% win rate on competitive while doing a solo Q. I haven't teamed up with anyone at all. What kind of cope you will come up this time? It's so funny to prove you all wrong in real time.

Cause your wrong. You don't have a 79% win rate you have a 55.8% win rate(which still puts you in the margin of error). If you are going to post bait threads remember their is always a way to track records when you post your account name.

I wanted you to track my records. However the matter of fact is, besides of some goofing around in silver and bronze due to leavers my last 50 matches having 76% winrate and the last 25 matches having 79% winrate. You know the matches that are actually matters since they are in Plat-Diamond.

But sure keep coping my dude. That doesn't count the fact that I never been on a "lose streak"

Marvel Rivals way of doing EOMM isn't designed to make people win exactly half their matches. NetEase papers describe it as It's designed to gain the retention of each player, hence increase their engagement with the game. A profile based on each player's behaviour is created and specific win/loss mechanisms are introduced to get HIS engagement up. This means that each one of us gets a different treatment, most people will see their win/loss at 50% because that's mostly what's normal on competitive titles + it's a great way to fake balance + for MR is a great way to make the player rank go up slowly (you win more points than you lose them) and keep them playing for that. In your case, the system thinks that your engagement will go down if you lose more matches, it probably thinks you will quit the game if you don't win.

This is all massive speculation but their papers about the EnMatch system basically do say all of this.

I read those papers and there is no such a thing in it. The first half however is how every competitive matchmaking works. If you perform well you should not lose as much points as your teammates who didn't perform well. You playing a heavily team focused game and it's not fair for actual good players to not be able to rank up because some goofy teammates, so they lose less points because they performed well. Same goes for wins too, if I am being carried for example, I receive less points than the players who carried me. It's a fair system.

Also, mind you I never been on a major lose streak ever.

I mean sure keep telling yourself you are special I guess? I have nothing to cope about I am doing fine. However when even your streamers and pro players( you know the ones people actually care about.) these people that bring more eyes to the game and are higher ranked then you and I are pointing it out. Yeah i would say there is a problem.

No, matter of fact I just proved y'all wrong and who says "special" is you, because despite all the evidence you still coping hard. You get proved in real time and it's hilarious.

Also funny, which streamers pointed this out exactly? Yesterday I watched Seagull's stream. In case you don't know he is an ex overwatch pro player, he was massive and popped off on the tournaments too. Ironically yesterday his whole stream he was clowning you guys because EOMM is not exist in a competitive environment. Making jokes about how thin foil hat this community is lol.

The papers don't describe that just like I said ofc, but they do talk about engagement, retention and how it is preferred over fairness for the "fun" factor.

While a lot of games use EOMM, I found this one to be the worse system out there. I was very skeptical at first, like you, but then after reaching diamond, probably due to being there less players, things got really weird. It's constantly either a full win or a full lose, as if the matchmaking doesn't work at all. It feels unbalanced as a result, and it's really unfun when you realize it. I really don't enjoy 80% of my games. A competitive match happens in that 20% but that is truly not enough to me. It's still speculation but it's either this, or the matchmaking system is flawed in some other way.

Congratz for the GM. You seems to rock with Bucky. The most important thing over some matchmaking and algoritms is the skill of the player. Thats why in any pvp game with ranking systems there is a lot of people getting gm and above both seasons. ALso many smurf get high elo in several accounts. and YES, as solo q.

Again how am I coping? I am not the one trying to boost my ego making bait post to feel special. As of seagull much like many of the other high rank rival streamers if he is making jokes about match making then he is the clown. He mostly plays with a set team much like necros and many others. But yes he has had losing streaks to just like you btw your easiest to find streak is jan24 to feb 2 which is 5 games. However a losing streak is 2 or more so yeah you have had multiple loosing streaks. cheers

I'm not boosting my ego. I provided proof that it can be done. I done the very thing y'all call "impossible". How you are coping? Simple, you spreading false information about something because you mad you cannot rank up. Simple as that.
