What is this map rotation?

It's random.
Too random some times.

I remember an evening all my quickplay matches were on one same map. And all my competitive matches were on a second map.
There are 9 or 11 maps, but all evening only two rolled.

I remember when the Midtown map came out and I didn't get it a single time for an entire 2 days of playing maybe 2 or 3 hours a day outside of the specific gamemode where you play it over and over again.
