EDIT........I didn't think V-sync could fix it but it played for hours with no frame drop and now it is back to dropping to 1-FPS I give up, I'm done, and I was loving the game too
But, I'm more surprised at the solution recommended by the dev, makes no sense. You should send them your DxDiag file.
When it first started this, I checked all updates from GPU drivers, DirectX, Window's update, game update Steam update, then I lowered every setting to low and turned everything to performance, nothing worked. I'm playing on a desk top I built, not a laptop so the GPU is on and being used. Thank you to all who repied, very kind to take time out of your day for that.
Yes, I have. I've changed every setting to the lowest and the GPU settings to performance and still it's a no go. I have no idea what else I can do. I don't think it is a GPU going out because all other games play just fine, including Midnight Sun's which is also a UE game using DirectX 12 and it plays fine too. I guess I'm just going to delete Marvel Rivals and move on, but I REALLY liked the game.
Thanks for posting.
