Yes Marvel Rivals is a game that have some strange and rare issues for some reason.
I searched about your problem and I found out some people on other gaming forum having the same problem so you are not alone.
Another question, is there an app for your mouse and keyboard? Can you check if there is any update?
Also do you have any overlay on your screen? or any recording app running?
And check your Display settings, change "Display mode" from Full screen to Borderless Windowed or vice versa.
the display is on borderless i can def try full screen - no overlay or recording app i even disabled steam overlay thinking it was an issue :c but i'll try that booster soon
If it does it again then you know it's not the game or your keyboard, it's something to do with your drivers or motherboard; and you can begin troubleshooting that.
Honestly I've seen out dated bios having driver compatibility issues with newer games and it disconnects the USB devices because of it. Especially older gigabyte motherboards.
So make sure they are up to date, reset CMOS even if need be.
Also go to edit power plan in windows, go to advanced, and make sure "USB selective setting" is set to disabled.
Could also verify game files or reinstall the game itself; if you have a different SSD could try moving the game to that instead and if that solves it do a check on the other SSD to see if it has any bad sectors or anything of the sort.
