Help please 😭
Ever since this new season update I’ve had an issue where the game will disconnect my keyboard and mouse. To the point where I have to unplug / reconnect both multiple times. I don’t have this issue in other games (OW/COD/Fortnite/etc) so I know it’s not a hardware issue. But it’s something that happens randomly but multiple times. It could be the 1st game or the 50th game after having no issues all day etc etc. I tried asking MR support in discord but was just sent the system requirements instead which doesn’t state anything about specific knm😐. I’ve never had the issue prior to the most recent update - I’ve uninstalled and clean installed it but that went from just my keyboard being affected to my mouse and keyboard. ((I use a Cobra Pro and a Huntsman)) if anyone has any ideas on what to do to fix the issue or has the same issue please help 😭

EDIT FOR ANYONE NEEDING HELP TOO :: someone changing the usb selective setting is disabled - i didnt do this myself but it sounds like it would help. my mouse can be used wired and Bluetooth so while I play Rivals i will be using the bluetooth feature seeing as it was disconnecting both my mouse and keyboard (idk why still but so far it has stopped when i use the BT function instead) I will try the usb disable option at some point and i'll let you know if it works when i have the mouse wired still :) thanks for all the great ideas and if it didnt help me im sure it will help someone! ❤️

hi, do you have controller connected to your PC? or any other device other than your mouse and keyboard?

Yes Marvel Rivals is a game that have some strange and rare issues for some reason.

I searched about your problem and I found out some people on other gaming forum having the same problem so you are not alone.

Another question, is there an app for your mouse and keyboard? Can you check if there is any update?

Also do you have any overlay on your screen? or any recording app running?

And check your Display settings, change "Display mode" from Full screen to Borderless Windowed or vice versa.

Razer uses cortex(game/system booster that recently added optimization for MR) and synapse(for the rgb) both are up to date and ive played with cortex off i havent played yet today to try and use it because i recently found out about it and it wasnt necessary before or on other games.

the display is on borderless i can def try full screen - no overlay or recording app i even disabled steam overlay thinking it was an issue :c but i'll try that booster soon

Its may windows side ! After update they messed my audio drivers ! try to roll back keyboard and mouse drivers and see what's gonna happen
i also notice my mouse occasionally snaps to scentre of my screen at random times i dunno if its the anticheat or some ather reason but it can really mess you up during games

if its not randomly disconneting mine will sometimes just stop allowing me to look around and i will still have to unplug/reconnect etc
maybe not use the smoothening option?

UPDATE AFTER LIKE 20 MINS IN DOOM MATCH -- it didn't do much to fix anything lol nothing changed at some point though i unplugged my mouse and used the Bluetooth feature and it seemed okay but again i wont really know until i get into a long session since it is a very random d/c. but i will try to leave it as bluetooth mouse and wired keyboard next time to test it :)

i do not have this or the one under it enabled on the settings i dont remember what it was called but i just tested those out like just now. it was always off prior to these tests today
I mean, first thing I would do is try a different regularly wired keyboard and/or mouse.

If it does it again then you know it's not the game or your keyboard, it's something to do with your drivers or motherboard; and you can begin troubleshooting that.

Honestly I've seen out dated bios having driver compatibility issues with newer games and it disconnects the USB devices because of it. Especially older gigabyte motherboards.
So make sure they are up to date, reset CMOS even if need be.

Also go to edit power plan in windows, go to advanced, and make sure "USB selective setting" is set to disabled.

Could also verify game files or reinstall the game itself; if you have a different SSD could try moving the game to that instead and if that solves it do a check on the other SSD to see if it has any bad sectors or anything of the sort.
im having the same issue and i dont have a controller connected nor do i really want to connect one :(

mine is fixed by using the Bluetooth feature for my mouse and leaving my keyboard plugged in and then disconnecting my speakers so it wouldn't swap from my headset to there but outside of that i haven't tried leaving both wired again. hopefully that helps you too! :) i never had a controller either so i knew that wasn't a problem. before this ever happened i had gpu crashes that fixed with uninstalling -> clearing cache -> deleting the MR file -> clean reinstall so i do suggest doing that too if you haven't ever done that in case its a corrupt file somewhere.
