bro i just posted about this exact thing that occured to me. i was plat 1 then lose streak 11x win 2x after that 7x lose streak again. 9 of which has 1 dps player rage quitting and AFK'd mid-game. now im sitting all the way at gold 2. this all happened in less than 8 hours of playtime. crazy
well then its not skill ceilling LOL. unless its SBMM but its not. dont be in denial. this game comp is rigged unless you really have a party of minimum 2-3 people
uhu I heard this kinda cope comments in every game I played. It's not me it's the system! Yah right. People that think like this post show us replays and show us the god gamers that you are.
Problem is you are being reductive.
You cannot deny that there are good players out there the struggle to climb.
Instead of saying something like “you need to put in the work” you feel the need to belittle people and call it “cope” and imply they are absolute trash.
There is enough evidence out there that consistently good players who get accolades consistently go on losing streaks without merit, and still get their accolades.
The only variable that is constant is yourself.
Yes there are throwers, yes there are people who give up despite being gods on the smallest inconvenience, yes there are trollers.
But guess what, that dude or those dudes will just as easily show up for the other team.
If you don’t climb up given enough games you need more experience, check what you are doing wrong, what is getting you killed or stopping you from killing.
Are you countering the wrong target?
Are you feeding ults?
Are you in the wrong place?
How’s your heart rate?
Are your hands shaking?
Just stick with it, and don’t take losses, take lessons.
Let me give you one example of mine. I was playing CD and was getting shot by magneto.
Other than that I wasn’t dying, I was helping my team force def ults from the enemy team and then used mine to capitalize. Yeah I learned about that.
What new thing did I learn? I learnt that I need to plan my route given the magneto, so my final rush always ends up in a room, under a bridge, around a corner.
That single lesson made me go from a good player to a player good enough to literally force magnetos to switch since they always “wasted their ult”, and lo and behold I went up in ranks.
Stick with it and learn. You’ll see.
