Zero Tolerance Policy

This game and its player base are a serious problem to the mental safety and well-being of others. I don't talk much, I only ever ask my healers to focus on healing instead of DPS and that is somehow a basis to flame me, verbally harass me and all other kinds of crap talking.

I think this game needs to have a serious zero tolerance policy on harassment and verbal abuse and needs to start issuing player bans for it, especially since 99% of this games player base, comes from other shooters that allow it.

The shooting game community is so full of toxic, EVIL people that honestly if terrible things happened to them, I legitimately wouldn't feel any remorse or care seeing as the kind of evil they've done to other people is just karma reaping its due

It is what it is though people are indeed crazy in this game. I was playing against a Psylocke & they proceed to taunt me after a kill. So I get the next 2 kills on them & they brag about being 18-3. I say cool keep focusing on me so my team can push the payload. We lose a close game so I say GG & invite them to my team.

We lost the game & same person bragging & taunting me had less kills & died twice as much as I did. All that taunting I thought he was good enough to carry a team. But during the game we had this crazy Support player who was screaming at us to push the point from the start of the match. He wasnt happy that we lost round 1 so he went AFK but we won the 2nd round with out him. He's still fussing & then someone post someone's IP address smh. It was such a fuss over nothing, people cry about the team but their the one throwing the game. This is bronze sounded like buddy is hard stuck in it lol

in my 48hrs I've only ever seen one person be bad enough to report. And they were getting real personal with me and my team / his team as well.

Next day I got a message saying they've been removed from comp for their behaviour. In general just laugh it off and know when to draw the line and report. Or ignore the chat.

if communication is not suitable to your play stytle, game offers settings to switch them off. just fyi
it's also regional and time slot based. some regions are more chill, and if you play around midnight most likely your team mates are not casuals

Bruh, they need a vote feature in game where team can vote if they want certain player to swap roles or characters and if the vote is majority and the person in question fails to swap then auto ban for a week. I am talking specifically for ranked cause honestly, it is beyond frustrating how often I see this being an issue, someone does bad, everyone ask them to swap, and they just get salty and don't, throwing the game basically.

@OP: Just disable both text and voice chat. I did and the game is great when you do that, can highly recommend. Pings are enough for any actual in-game communication.
