Constant Leavers in Ranked

Anyone else noticing a ridiculous amount of leavers in ranked? On a massive losing streak now due to having games that are 5v6 or 4v6. At this point it's pointless to play rank since qp has people that stays in the lobby

My guess is people are having enough of being used by the matchmaker, so they're just pulling out. And its the right thing to do because the matchmaker is dishonest and manipulate, so why stay to be part of the manipulation? If it was a fair system, that would be another thing. Remember now the honey moon period is over, so things like game mechanics wont be so interesting any more, and the quality of balance will become a lot more of a factor as to why people would continue or not playing.

In Bronze\Silver yes but as you climbing the ladder it happens less and less.

Good players do generally rank up while people who abandon probably keep ranking down. That's kind of how it works...

There's still people good down low, you just have to sort them out. Unfortunately though if you're solo queuing you're stuck with whoever the matchmaker gives you since your not looking for them yourself.

I think that is the wrong mentality. No matter when you join, lower brackets are always a chore. If you are too early you play against Celestials and Grandmasters because they are also starting, and a lot of smurfs. If you join late you play against actual Bronze players who are terrible at the game and have a game sense of a fish. Either way it's a struggle. However if you are good, you will rank up no matter what. Especially since you earn more points than you lose, and also there is a shield that will defend you from dropping.
