Disable skins in Competitive

Hi

skins in this game are not designed well and confuse people, drastically changing the silhouette of characters and making it hard to keep track the targets

i think they should be removed in competitive play for this reason, or give us an option to disable them.

thoughts?

The only skins right now that bother me are two default skins, namely Cloak n Daggers default skin ( The Woman ) and Invisible Woman's default skin, I have difficulties distinguishing them apart from appearance from a distance. Luckily though they're both strategist and generally play the same. If one were a tank and or duelist I'd have more of a problem with it lol.

Actual skins, no... No problems at all with them. They won't even consider this option since skins are a main source of income too.

I'm guilty of mistaking the two all the time. But at the end of the day, they both gotta' die.

I mean you can't remember after the first time they use an ability. I think that might be a personal issue.

Skins of healers make them look like other healers, especially if they all have paid for skins.

LOL buying them so others see them? I hate to tell you, not a single person cares about your characters skin.

If they arent earned through in game achievement they are literally meaningless.

My main gripe is Invisible woman and cloak&dagger. They're almost impossible to see further away as mentioned before. Don't even get started with their portrait images in scoreboard and hero selection, I need actually check which one was picked.

Minus the Sue Storm and C&D issue would also prefer to not have to see what other people are using. Don't care for skins myself so gets obnoxious to have to relearn to identify characters again and again whenever new ones drop.

Their entire business model is placing pixels in front of people's eyes. So will they allow disabling skins in any game mode?

The only ones I confuse are the default skins I mentioned earlier. The rest are easy to distinguish...

I had a game awhile back where someone was using the blonde Black Widow skin and I genuinely kept diving on her thinking I was diving C&D.

This one might actually be true. Since most Black Widows generally stick to the default skin from what I've seen.
