Are second accounts authorized?

I have friend joining the game and would like to play with them in ranked so they don't have to solo queue. Is it permitted to have a second account or not ? Can't find anything official about this.

The problem I encounter is that a lot of people don't really play in quickplay, they would just 1v1 or talk in Chat, and I can't play with him in ranked because of the rank difference as I started playing way before him.

Yeah can just make another Steam account and play Rivals through that login.

Yes but the anti cheat knows the machine ID and if second account are not authorized I don't want to be banned needlessly.

no, you can create all the alt to farm that sweet 300 credit to get legendary skin

Why should the anticheat factor into this? It's just another account. Not detecting third party software.

You can have multiple accounts on one machine and as far as you're playing legit without using any cheats/additional software to enhance your Rivals game/auto aim bots/ etc you are good, Anti cheat has absolutely nothing to do with that.

Multiple accounts ain't the problem. The way you use them might be.
