Does Jeff Ult Counter Jeff Ult?

I'm new to the game, so I've been looking up vids on how to play and how ults interact and I wanted to know if you can ult an enemy Jeff's ult or ally.

Apparently you can, but it didn't work for me.

Tested with easy bots; a Jeff bot ulted my ally, I ulted him when he was moving and it didn't grab him.

Anyone know if it was fixed/patched?

Jeff cannot be swallowed by another Jeff while he's swimming underground AFAIK.

Jeff is CC immune when his hp is yellow AKA when his swimming. You need to ult Jeff the moment he's circling your teammates or after he throw everyone.

it used to. they nerfed that so it no longer works

You can’t eat them during the swallow animation. But you can swallow him when he is swimming around with people and his fin is out.

I did this in the Jeff winter event to save teammates.

Hmm. I did do this in the replay, but it ignored him (the bot), even though he had my ally and the top of his fin sticking out.

I seem to remember a moment during the Jeff event where I attempted to swallow his team players, then he popped right after me grabbing me and it I think allowed him to pop out his team members despite the fact I got a few of them before he got me.
Not a very common situation to find your self in usually, but was a little miffed he didn't have to decide to send his team off the side of the cliff along with me.

Meh... That's lame... It actually make you have to be smart with your use of your ult if there's another Jeff. Being able to save your team and punish the Enemy Jeff was a pretty big move on your part when you pulled it off.

Meh... That's lame... It actually make you have to be smart with your use of your ult if there's another Jeff. Being able to save your team and punish the Enemy Jeff was a pretty big move on your part when you pulled it off.

Yeah. I really wanted to do that tbh and yesterday I found out it didn't count, when I ulted the Jeff Bot, when his fin was out and moving around (I had him in range of the circle as well).

It's when Jeff is out of the ult.
Still, shame it's not possible when he's moving.

I was able to save two team mates who got swallowed while swallowing three of their team, including the enemy jeffed who swallowed my team mates with his Ultimate in the first place.

Ignore the twitch streamer in the background lol. I often listen to twitch streams in the background and forgot to mute the tab while recording the video.
