Is there a way to tell if you're in a bot lobby?

Is there a clear way to tell by pressing tab? or some pattern of player names? I'd like to just leave these games before it starts so I don't waste my time.

It's hard to tell by the names, some of them have really odd or goofy sounding names that you'd expect real people to have. Watching their behavior is usually the best way to tell. If you've lost two games in a row, you are more than likely going to a bot match after.

Their names follow a pattern. The only humans in this match were IronNibber, Maeriyareon, paradnya, and Putti. Others are bots.

I think the game is matching Quickplay people in with the Practice Against AI matches, I was messing around in those to test out a few characters I haven't used much and I've noticed many seem to think they're playing against actual players.
That's not the default mode that's selected when you start up the game, you have to go out of your way to pick it.

used to be, not anymore. i have seen bots with ridiculous names. Even in that screenshot Slayyzx broke the pattern and could pass as a player name.

If you press TAB during the loading, bots always have default nameplate and low lvl, usually 1-5. If enemy team is full of such "players", you are in a bot lobby.

Here's a recent qp match with blue team 6 bots and red team: 4 humans and 2 bots (Kenanias_ and pissa).

So far, the pattern contains only letters or 1 symbol, no numbers.

Saw something about this where you will never have more than 2 losses in a row in quick matches. If you've lost 2 in a row you can guarantee the next match or 2 will be with low brain bots.

You aren't lvl 5 anymore though. Which makes your "disguise" ineffective.

I'm sorry but that fits so many people's patterns for username, if you didn't point out they're bots i wouldn't even know.

Like, I'm pretty much a bot according to that pattern lol

cant view their profiles post match(its extremely unlikely all 6 enemies will have their accounts blocked from viewing)

Also the fact ai's/bots often swap characters during a match and also plays perfect 2/2/2 comps

tabbing while you're loading into the game if the people in the **entire** enemy team are level 1 to level 5 i'll say its safe to say that they are bots.

Whilst the game is loading you can open the scoreboard and the entire other team will have grey nameplates. It'll also be bots after 2 losses.

The amount of losses is actually random. Sometimes it takes up to 4 in a row and the other day I got bot lobby after just a single loss.

Had a match where both sides had spidergirl, they both planted the Shift deployment at the same time, in the same spots, every engagement, both teams played sorta like braindead players.
I would guess they just get randomised player names, probably based on real players or just AI generated user names.
