How the upvote system is uselessly useful.

You get to see how many people are selfish and only upvote themselves, or only their group, regardless of how well the match goes. Or they give the votes to everyone.

As for giving votes exclusively to someone who did exceptionally well, you need to be absolutely flawless... and even then I only see MVP get specific recognition maybe 20% of the time.

So its a really good indicator that most people that use it are either too nice or too self absorbed.

I give upvotes to people, whos' plays Iliked. If a person gonna pick a healer and proceed to completely ignore healing the team, let alone a tank - that player gets a report.

If I see or hear a Luna Snow/Bucky/Spider-Man stun another ulti (like Scarlet Witch's for example) - that is an auto-like.

I'm curious as to why you can even upvote yourself in the first place. Other then that it's fine honestly. It's mostly there to try and encourage people to play more effectively. You get upvotes when you actually do what your character is intended to do. If you do it poorly, you don't get upvoted...
