Thors ultimate weak?

I mean i playd him 18 hours up to diamond 1 , he can have some good moments , but i feel like his ult is bad , easiely countered by a godultimate supp or u just run or dash away while ur so slow flying in air popping ult , boom down u kill nothing or maximum 1 guy

It's a set-up Like Penni; You're supposed to drop the slow field then ult into it.
But yeah, results are usually wildly inconsistent.

It's more of an area denial than something to deal damage and get kills. For that purpose it works just fine. Still I think, I got a couple of triple kills here and there with it.

Yeah, if you're looking to get a lot of KOs with Thor's ultimate, it won't happen. The ultimate is very slow and easy to counter with lower cost abilities.
It's on a similar level as Scarlet Witch's ultimate, which is generally considered as the worst in the game.

It absolutely needs a buff in the future. There is no reason for any ultimate ability to be lackluster.

I don't think that any tank is supposed to KO entire teams. It's DPS job. Thor is already a great tank, has great damage and powerful kit. He is fine.

I don't think you can compare it to Scarlet Witch, because her ult is very risky and competent players will just focus you.
Thor's is closer to Venom's, like you don't do great damage, but you usually risk nothing, you still deal a lot of damage if you hit multiple people, you do area denial and finish unlucky wounded targets unless they go off objective.

It definitely feels weak. And its a bit hard to accurately aim with it. I think the Devs need to rework his Ult a bit.

You can use your slow field to make sure that they cant just walk away but you will have problems with movement abilities just dashing out of it either way. I havent figured out the best ways to use it yet but I think it might be best as an area denial moreso than an offensive tool. Against low mobility heroes tho it tends to be a guaranteed kill more times than not if you slow field first.

I find that his is pretty easy to avoid altogether honestly. He announces it and then takes too long to actually use the move, and he moves so slowly when he's in the air so getting out of it's point of impact is usually really really easy to do.
