Meta characters

As a gm player who just demoted back to diamond, if you want to rank up in this game, you HAVE to play meta characters, i main tank and i usually play strange and magneto, they are very good meta characters which can carry the team. But if your dps chooses low tier characters, they are never gonna be good. Every game i see a teammate lock spiderman and iron fist, i know that match is doomed. No matter how good am i at solo tanking, trying to peel diving enemies and counter ulting, these dps never help and goes negative.

Every game my teammates pick good characters , we basically win the game. Every game i see spiderman and fist, we lose that game, still no one knows how to deal with flyers.

I know its boring but only you are exceptionally good at one tricking , do not play low tier characters in ranked or you will lose

This is factually not true. Every hero is viable even in One Above All. There are SW one tricks in the top 100. A Rocket Player that did 0 damage on his entire climb. Widows dominating Celestial lobbies. If you can play your hero well enough you will climb, just some are easier to climb than others. The easiest heroes to rank up quickly are the low skill floor heroes like C&D and Moon Knight. Even in Diamond low skill floor heroes are basically free value buttons. Playing exclusively vanguard will be a longer journey to rank up, but if you're good enough you will slowly climb.

As much as I hate to admit, you are wrong about this one. There is only 1 SW mains, only 1 widow mains etc... Just because 1 player is exceptionally good with a bad character, it doesn't mean everyone can do it. In fact, these exceptions just further proof that you must pick meta characters.

Strange and magneto are extremely lame. I would rather uninstall than play those two. HULK is the best.

It's true for any PvP game. Meta exists, meta heroes tend to win more, that's the entire meaning of meta.

hulk gets banned every game so i wont count that

i am good enough to carry as vanguard which made me rank up to gm at least for once but every match i win its entirely on good dps, even when ur good at support and vanguard you can't do as much to change the flow of the game compared to meta dps, and always i have to fill as ppl usually locks dps

thats why i said exceptionally good lol. I met a one trick witch ONCE and won, next game witch got target banned and we lose. Rocket is another rare case when he is very good with team up but sucks without it as theres one less invincible support ult if u dont run 3 support.
