Both `Virtual mother` and `Broteeshka` are boosted and well, u can see EOMM in action.
U won 3 games in a row? nuh bruh, its time to stop.
I now jsut alt+f4 after 1 loss for an hour +-, but looks like i need to do alt+f4 for longer.
U know its an EOMM cos there is no way that person cna be same rank as me while i did Almost same DMG as him WHILE being almost top heals..... and had to constatly fight off enemy spider man.
So right now, best way to play this games in stack OR jsut alt+f4 after lsot match to trick EOMM into giving u better matches.
There's two things EOMM will try to force:
1) It wants people to go on win and loss streaks. Just like a casino would. These will keep the players engaged -- "I cant stop until the win streak is over" or "I have to keep playing to end this losing streak"
2) It wants to have fast matches. Long grueling competitive matches are bad for churn. So the algorithm tries to avoid them. This is why most matches are stomps even though an evenly matched game should be competitive.
This explains why so many players start their ranked career with a 67% winrate and cruise into a rank they don't belong in -- the system needs them to artificially create wins and losses.
It's simple stuff really. It will place a couple of these guys on one team (likely both specializing in the same hero), and a couple guys who are stomping their way to GM on the opposite team. This allows them to fill the remaining four slots on each team with players who need a win or loss, as determined by the algorithm, to stay engaged.
GM players are still obviously the best players. The algorithm is accurate and places people where they belong. But there is not fair competition in most matches. They were heavily tilted to create a desired outcome.
