Iron mans weakness

As one who prefers to have a wolverine over hulk I really dislike the idea teaming up with a iron man....reason why is because even if hulks passive ability is buffing up iron mans damage I just dont think its enough to withstand two of the main dps that has rapid fire in their moveset. Im looking at iron man going up against star lord, or iron fist. With starlord the dude can just dodge everything that an iron man dish out. Even if iron man gets the kill starlord might revive himself and take care of him afterwards. With iron first.... the rapid fire and the ability to heal himself makes him more obnoxious. So if I hate being a hulk for iron man can a storm help iron man survive? Providing speed buffs or damage to the iron man can be tricky for going up against weaknesses that have to do with rapid fire. Also meanwhile storm buffs the iron man if someone else goes hulk it would make iron man a walking nuke am I wrong?
