You can carry to GM if you're good enough
if you are hardstuck at gold/plat, you are where you deserve to be. Diamond is probably the hardest rank as you get too many people who got carried and are now solo q. Especially healers.

i know i'm carried when i can't solo the enemy team with my spidey and have been stuck in gold 1 for the past 3 days

Spider is very easy to solo in Bronze, you'll wipe the enemy healers and most likely 4-5 players at once per ult.

Moon Knight is countered by Spiderman really well, Black Panther too, squirrel girl suffers a similar fate.

namor is supposed to help vs both these chars and absolutely mop the floor with them but went only 10-5.

You did not put "?" on him, but he more than likely just focusd dpsing the enemy tanks and didn't do any peeling/anti diving.

You also didn't put "?" on strange which has very bad stats for that match/matchups.

He more than likely failed to create a proper frontline/killl. focusing only on fighting the enemy tank.

I bet if you post the replay these facts will come to be shown as true.

The fact Namor/Strange failed so bad but didn't get a "?" just not only shows EOMM here isn't a thing, but that you failed to analyze statisitcs, you're a stat padder/farmer analyzer.

It's adorable how many people believe NetEase would spend millions to research and develop EOMM but decide not to use it. As if they cared about "fair competition" more than profits for their shareholders.

You can still take pride in your rank. It does a great job at predicting what rank people belong in. You think their algorithm can't determine that a GM player started ranking and is cruising through Bronze to GM? Obviously it will determine this immediately. This is 2025.

It will carefully select who will be placed on his team and who will be against him. Effectively creating a guaranteed outcome for everyone else in the match. Some players need a win to stay engaged and get placed onto the GM team. Some players need a loss to stay engaged and get placed on the opposite team.

There's also a lot more to it but it's simple stuff. It is well-documented in NetEase's published papers regarding EOMM. We aren't making this stuff up. It comes straight from the horses mouth.

Just peek at any screenshot of a match history and ask yourself, "Should there be this many stomps?" If everyone in the match was evenly skilled most would result in long grueling competitive matches. But matches like this are exceptionally rare in all ranks. Because they are bad for churn.

How would it determine i'm a GM player when most of my matches are just spent disrupting opponents without actually doing much damage?

You are hard coping if you think NetEase isn't capable of determining a GM player in Bronze. Just read the published papers man. It is all well documented. Sorry to break the bad news to ya.

We live in 2025 -- there are dozens of companies running analytics on you in this very moment. You can bet your ass NetEase does it for every single player on their servers.

You don't even need to be good to hit gm3. You can always just play the game 24/7 and coinflip your way into that rank eventually since you always get insane SR gains for winning below gm3 compared to SR lost. That's also why there's so many hardstuck gm3 players with a 30/40% winrate and why the skill gap between gm1 and 3 is so huge.

Is it that great for what rank we should be in?. I had a 33% win rate and remained in Gold-3 for over 40+ matches. Previous season I had a 60%+ win rate.

I've climbed to Diamond-3. I HAVE NEVER TASTED a 50% win rate all season. I have reached Diamond-3 over freaking 5 times or something now. I been 40-45% win rate. Currently 180 matches and 81 wins.

I just get freaking losing streaks and winning streaks. Performance does not matter much. It is NEAR ALL one-sided matches (wins and losses). The matches are so bad the kills are something like 10 to 35+.

Either don't deserve the rank OR the game is srsly just bullying. Soon as I touch Diamond-3 it beats me down so bad. So badly i'm on a 9 game losing streak. Another 2 loses and I will drop to Plat-3.



Support will get blamed even if they've out healed the winning team WITH the DPS doing 1/3 of the winning team. Tanks and DPS clump together and will line of sight heals. They ignore pings of ganks.

The majority of faults is duelists with main character issues. They can even be found standing solo and crying for heals meanwhile over 3-4 times the range of healing. Must be really good at dps from so damn far away of the enemy.

The difference between a winning team and losing is clear. One looks out for another and the other will tunnel vision and just focus tanks. Even with healing ults they still stand far away, not even in it.

When defending they go out and die for the objective instead of letting the attacking team die for it. Basically from Art of War where you let them die for their flag. Sadly it is so bad they will go up to the team spawn even.

At end of match people point to stats, but this isn't WoW. It isn't so simple as looking at 1 stat and saying "OMG BAD _____".
