Help learning to deal with Namor?

If I'm front lining as a tank I spend 90% of my time killing squids and getting melted by said squids.

If I manage to push back enough to fight him he goes up into a wave and by this point I need to back up for heals so it's a reset.

If I'm dps I can't flank him as he's designed to not be flanked and his spears have the hitbox of a Mack truck.

If I'm a healer I don't interact as much except getting randomly beamed by a stray spear that somehow managed to miss everyone.

I despise nerfs I really do, but I can't figure out this guy's weakness.

His biggest weakness is range. He doesn't really have a lot of tools to push forward if out of squid range. His most relevant counter is probably Hela.

As a support, especially mantis, destroying constructs like squids, groot walls, and loki clones is a must since she can get her leafs back off of them. He's one of those characters you have to watch his cool downs for. A Namor who uses his shift ability is an easy target.

Your DPS is failing you leaving squids up. Take them down and he's useless.

While I don't deny that it's essential to be destroying those constructs, Mantis only gets leaves from Loki clones (since only Loki clones can be criticalled).

Absolutely, but he can throw a bunch and he also hits hard, he's considered top tier for a reason. Every moment you spend shooting squids is a moment you're not shooting him. His wave barrier is a very good ability too, since it gives the healers a chance to save him.
