Wolverine and hulk are OP and why
The biggest reason is because they both have unique CC that isn't tied to an ult.

Wolverine can dash behind someone, then grab them and pull them towards their team/isolate them. Wolverine then gets to damage them shortly after landing, while the player is still unable to do anything and has to do an animation of getting back up. This just feels bad for the player who is vsing wolverine. Can you make it so they can at least interact as soon as they land, instead of just watching themselves die as wolverine kills them before they get up?

Hulk is the same thing, but probably worse. Has a jump with no cooldown that he can spam. Get people in the air/jumping and they get the same knocked back animation. Hulk can 100-0 squishy characters caught this way. He can also have this happen by simply jumping to a higher elevation being used by a squishy ranged character. If it connects, that squishy is 100% dead unless someone reacts instantly.

On top of this, hulk also has a "remove you from the game for 3 seconds" button, the exiled state. And, immunity to CC with gamma shield (such as jeff the sharks ult and doctor strange. Kind of broken that it's a basic ability.

Playing against these 2 characters is just not fun, as if you get caught in their relatively easy to land instant kill jump grabs, you are dead. At least with champions like Magik, she has to visually charge her sword and then land a hard to hit dash, and even then, you can live by healing before hand or stunning as she dashes in a straight line, or knocks you up. When you are knocked up my magik, you aren't prevented from casting abilities.

Hopefully these 2 are tuned to lower the "you can't play the game anymore" interaction, which is the most unfun CC in any game. CC's such as sleep/ice (luna snow/mantis) are interesting/fun as they can last a long time, but if you are hit, it breaks the CC. With hulk/wolverine, you just die.

I am honestly getting league of legends PTSD with when you get stunned in that game, you are dead, with no interaction. It's just "oh guess you hit me so I'm dead". I was really enjoying this games take on CC, where it does it's job, but if the enemy starts to attack you, you are allowed to play the game and fight back.

interesting tip, hulks feet light green when he's charging a jump so when you see the gamma thighs, just don't jump

Magik is cheaper than wolvie, if she can maintain distance in dm, she wins. Try dm and you will see wolvie gets shat on by flying and teleporting characters... :/
Wolverine is such bs. Absolutely ridiculous, perhaps only second to MK.
There's a bunch of characters with CCs not tied to an ULT.
alot of op heros are only op because alot of teams are like... im sure someone else wil take of them ^^
Many squishy characters have an escape button (ie, Hela, Scarlet Witch, Rocket, IW, C&D, Namor, etc), which you can press to survive as long as you're not getting focused by the entire enemy team while this happens. If you're playing someone who does not have an escape and getting consistently deleted by this you might want to switch to someone who does.

How do you "take care of" Wolverine as a tank? I am completely at a loss. I was told not to run towards him (and let him wreck my back line I guess?).

I like to get him chasing me as hulk, backpedal and then repeatedly hop over him whenever he uses a charge ability to get in range, saving gamma shield for if he catches me with the grab or tries to switch off me to target someone else. If he can't connect the big leap you can usually whittle him down by virtue of having a bigger melee range while you both flail at each other.

You don't. Just like you don't "take care" of healing as a dps, or "take care" of backline dps as Groot. No character/class can do everything. Wolverine is there to take care of tanks. Just like divers are there to take care of healers, ranged DPS are there to take care of fliers and people out of position.

You are not meant to be the answer to everything. It's a team game. It can be frustrating, when your team doesn't do the things your character/role can't, but that has nothing to do with Wolverine. Ask healers how they feel when no one peels for them. Ask tanks how they feel when they don't get healed.

hes alot like ironfist you need to cover eachathers ass and react to them if your team is distracted or just not paying atension they feel unstoppable. after dieing to them that way once or twice many teams get into this better them then me mindset and avoid dealing with him. opting to go for ather targets and leaving them to steamroll asmuch as they like

So is that the dps responsibility? Because my teammates get pretty ticked at me for not protecting them from him while the other team laughs at me for trying.

Obviously Wolverine is the tank-killer, but some tanks are more capable of frustrating him than others. Groot, for instance, pretty much just gets murdered with absolutely nothing he can do unless his team saves him. Strange is barely better, he has really no way to fight back but he can at least sometimes save himself by flying after he gets kidnapped. Thor is pretty decent because he can use his dash to either get out of the bad position he's presumably in or, if he gets kidnapped, to push Wolverine back the way he came, though still not ideal. Hulk is a real pain for Wolverine because of his unpredictable maneuverability and ability to CC-immune himself. Magneto is surprisingly capable of frustrating Wolverine since his shield gives CC-immunity (so he casts it on himself, or his other tank if he sees Wolverine about to kidnap them), and his alt-fire knocking Wolverine back can also cause him real problems. Though of course the best (for this very specific match-up) is Peni, she trolls the hell out of Wolverine through pretty much every part of her kit.
its upto reacting be it chasing after the abduction or capitalizing on the change of focus it wil bring to the enemie team. not all heros have a clear rock paper scissors style counter they arent designed that way in many cases. so its nobody job to counter him its everyone's job to make sure you react or trade well

Thanks for the tips. I'm going to have to go back to QP and add some more tanks. I have Cap, Strange, Groot... all the ones he destroys.

peni is pretty good against him she has the hard cc right click and web line thingy to escape with enough mines on the ground he wil instagib himself when he comes for you.
