Does anyone know how One Above All works?

I thought it was purely everyone in top 500, but I just hit T500 as celestial 2 and I'm not one above all. Do I have to hit eternity to be OAA?

No, it's the highest reachable rank in game. Naturally only the best Players will get there.
Top 500 is a list of the 500 best Players, which have ranks from OAA all the way down to celestial.

After ranking up from celestial -> eternal, if you are in the T500 you will automatically rank up to OAA. If you are in eternal, gaining enough points to reach T500 promotes you as well. (Like other ranks, you can demote out of it, but there is no lower bound protection like regular ranks).
