[PC] Microphone / Push to Talk Solution

Hey folks, just sharing some info for anyone searching for it now or later;

Is your PC microphone suddenly no longer working for you? Have you tried everything? Then try this:

1. Reset keybindings.
   
2. Still on the keybindings page, select ALL HEROES, delete the push to talk keybinding by right-clicking the bind slot.
   
3. Add a mouse button key binding as the primary binding, and the default ` as the secondary binding.
   
4. Now repeat steps 2 and 3 on all individual hero pages that you think you might ever play.

I suspect what happens when your mic stops working "randomly" is when you play on different heros and something in the settings gets confused. I tried a lot to fix my mic no longer working, but this seemed to do the trick for me.

If your mic once again stops working at some point - and it probably will - redoing these steps will fix it again.

There are different possible problems with different possible solutions when it comes to the mic no longer working in this game.

In my case, my mic was working fine for weeks, and suddenly it stopped picking up my voice, which made competitive play a nightmare!

After trying absolutely everything, I noticed by chance that I was actually still able to speak on the character select screen in the match lobby, but lost the ability to do so when playing on a character. This lead me to experimenting with the settings and find this solution.

my problem is at the beginning of the match i can type chat and mic but mid way through,
"sometimes" it would completely not let me communicate at all, no mic or typing. So now at least i can always mic but sometimes still i cant type in chat

Yep, that solved the problem! It's like when you change characters, it doesn't keep the keybind, but if you add it to all characters, it fixes the issue. Thanks! <3

thans for the fix its a hassle having to rebind for every character if u play multiple but it fixed the problem ur the one my guy
