Punisher Achievement bugged?

So i am trying to 100% this game and the only two achievements left are of punisher and cap, i did get 3 kills with the smoke grenade in two different matches, but the achievement did not pop. And i did exactly as a couple youtube vids too.

Denny Crane here. If you think you accomplished the Punisher's smoke grenade kills, you haven't. Not to be rude but to just state a fact. The smoke has a very small area and last very shortly. However, here is how I accomplished it:
The smoke grenade DOES damage. Don't think of the numerical amount but the visual amount. Lower their health with your rapid fire weapon (better control of how much damage you do), then when their health is well low enough, finish them WITH the smoke grenade. If you get the yellow message on the right side of your computer screen AND the smoke grenade icon on the kill list with YOU as the actual killer... that is one. Do that two more times in a match and you will have it.
It is NOT "bugged." None of these "achievements" are "bugged." They are just poorly translated. I'm certain that they meant to say "kill your opponent WITH (not while in) the smoke grenade." You can see I have ALL of these "achievements" because I am Denny Crane, so what I say is factual. Best of luck. Denny Crane.

I got it by accident, and it was during one same match (Asgard palace), where you play multiple games to control the point and I did it in one of 'em. So it ain't bugged, but can be tricky to execute I guess.

I can assure you, you are wrong. I just finished a match where I got 4 kills by bombing enemies with the smoke grenade and still didn't get the achievement. Whatever they mean by "amidst", it isn't that.

Can you post the replay code to that match? I got it by last hitting enemies with the smoke grenade, but I know others have said just shoot them till dead while in the smoke. Smoke just never lasted long enough for me to get back to shooting so it could be some kinda visual bug or unintended value.

I got it, so how it works is, you wait until they are half or under then use your smoke and then shoot them with the shotgun to get the kill

I got it, so how it works is, you wait until they are half or under then use your smoke and then shoot them with the shotgun to get the kill

No. Get them to almost dead, a smidgen away from death. Then shoot and hit them with the smoke grenade. That will kill them and count toward what you need.

Smoke Grenade damage is only 45, so they have to be REALLY low. Like, near death low.

Pretty much. Took like five or six games to get a feel for how low ya have to see a target's health bar to be at before making the attempt. But once there it just worked. With the added bonus of stealing kills, if you decide to take the Doom Mode route.

I just got the achievement unlocked in the game, but it didn't pop up on steam. It is bugged.
