Make it harder to increase rank in competitive

the competitive in this game is too easy, the amount of points you get for winning is too high and the amount you get for losing is too small. just by spam playing games and getting a 50% winrate (which is basically forced by SBMM) you will always be able to climb to whatever rank you want.

the problem is now we have so many bad players in GM/celestial/etc . i think we should make make it much harder to increase rank by lowering the amount per win and increasing the amount lost by losing, to keep people in bronze/silver/etc longer so they can learn to play.

what are your thoughts?

ive noticed its def a very forgiving system idr have an issue with it but i agree it could be harder to rank up

Just because the game has rank does not mean it's for extremely competitive players who have no life and all they do is play games.
it is targeted more towards casual players and kids who like superheroes, it's why you see so many spider man and Iron man players. If they made it hard to rank up most players will either just stop playing the game or you won't get enough stomp matches to write GG EZ, noob, uninstall.
if you really hate losing so much or playing with casual players maybe find yourself a team and add some friends.

You're not allowed to state the obvious solution, there's no outrage in solving the problem. Rage and Drama draw people in, it's why most people resort to either of those two things for entertainment over just using their brain.

this is a child game. This is no competitive. If you don't like just don't play it. It makes 0 diff in your life or others.

easy?) I started to play ranked with S1. Bronze to Gold was easy. But now it's a nightmare. Team diffs are atrocious. I just finished a match where enemy team had 40-50 kills on average, when we had dps with 7 kills, average on team - 14. My history in Gold looks like 2 wins, 5 loses, 1 win, 7 loses, and so on.
I'm curious where this 50% win/lose rate is.

Untrue, the more-points-per-win-than-loss mechanic is only up to diamond, then it evens out- So yes there are bad players in plat/diamond 3 but after that it is players with >50% win rates

Your selfishness and hubris has blinded you so much that you cannot foresee simple consequences of your request.

If this ever happens even with the todays player base, grandmaster and eternity players would wait que for 4+ hours for a single match which would cause streamers to ditch and kill the game eventually.

Anybody playing below 4 hours a day could never reach even gold rank and most of the player base would quit the game.

There is a good chance that you want this game to fail hard because of your alphabetic/transformatic grudge or sociopathic personality. If not, you are just a broken fool that needs to restart their life from scratch.

i am 40 year old dad who always talks on phone with one hand while holding my kid with other hand and working 2 full time jobs and i want to be GM when i play or this game is trash an i go watch sports with beer instead.
