Known fixes for low fps/stuttering/memory issues
From what I've seen, the game has optimization issues which have plagued some pc players, some appearing after the update and many persisting since beta. I've been browsing the internet for fixes and figured I'd compile all the most promising ones into a master thread. These settings are using the most recent version of Windows 11 as of 1/2025, and it goes without saying but you should restart ur pc after applying any of these.

- Updating video drivers or Downloading Nvidia studio drivers (idk abt the AMD version)
- Clear GPU shader cache [for Nvidia: C:>Users>(you)>AppData>LocalLow>NVIDIA>DXCache (some people have a different location, try looking it up)]
- Set graphics preference to high performance [Settings>Display>Graphics>Marvel Rivals]
- Disable hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling [Settings>Display>Graphics>Default graphics settings]
- Disable Control Flow Guard (for rivals only to avoid security issues) [Windows security>App & browser control>Exploit protection>Program Settings>Add program]
- In game: set Super Resolution Sharpening all the way down to 0, try TAAU or just disabling all those weird optional settings, frame generation can either help or hurt performance

hope any of this helps

* Lock framerate to 60FPS
Post list of specs, lets see what we're working with

Just found my problem: My GPU was severely under clocked. I don't know if it was Marvel Rivals, but it was running at 225Mhz to the core. Ran MSI Afterburner and re-applied my profile and now we're good. Again, don't know if it was MR, but if anyone is reading this because they are having severe FPS loss, I would check your GPU Clock speed.

For Navida Users Delete your Shader Cache Manually | (C:\Users\ (your User) \AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion\DXCache | Select all Delete and select Skip for all current items that cannot be deleted Then Restart PC. This worked for me now the Game is buttery smooth

Hi there. i have been haveing lots of stutters etc. Done hours of researching this problem and tried lots of diff " may be the fix " problems.
What really did fix it for me was to uninstall the latest NVIDIA driver and install 561.09 driver. The game for me is smooth as hell and i can run on max settings for now.

Reason for doing so was i did read somewhere that the latest NVIDIA driver is buggy as hell when it comes to DLSS etc. But if that's the real problem, i don't know but as i said, rollback to that driver was the fix for me.

on linux Suse I have recently had fps drops after a few rounds played and I have to restart the game. Temperatures are ok and the memory is not filling up, it worked properly before. Reinstalling drivers and the game has no effect and the problem persists. A few matches work ok at first and then staters start
