So... AFK teammates in "vs AI" mode?

Since challenges can be done in the "vs AI" mode, I go there to complete something fast. And I noticed that... A lot of times, at least one or two players on my team are AFKing on spawn, doing wiggle-movement to not trigger AFK penalty. And just now, I went in to get that 5k healing ez without sweat... Literally my whole team was sitting in the spawn room.

So... What gives? What is the point? What are they farming? For character "Proficiency" leveling up through hours played instead of actually playing the game with that hero? And if so - why?

Or are these fake online numbers by the devs themselves instead? Sitting in "vs AI" mode, not to be too obvious...

What's going on?

P.s. Don't care if they do it or not, just curious as to why this is happening. That's all.

probably there for the "complete X amount of matches". the fun thing is that you can leave vs ai and not get penalized for it.

they sit there to complete challenge missions, like "Win 5 matches" etc, why yes, you can do season missions in VS AI mode, and if its against easy bots, 4 or even 3 players can easily carry the round as long as they play powerful DPS

Sure... But like I said, I had a match where my whole team was sitting in the spawn room. Waiting for something, I suppose. And I picked Mantis (cuz needed heal + assists as Mantis). Yet I was the only one who even went outside the spawn room. What gives? -.-

They are leveling up accounts , to level 10 , to unlock comp , and either play with them and sell them as high ranked accounts ( i doubt that ) or to sell them as they are on account selling websites as hand leveled rank ready accounts

This dudes are probably smurfes. They quicky level up to level 10, playing vs AI this way and then go to competitive and punish everything that breaths

Their bots farming XP. For getting to level 10 you get access to ranked games, 300 blue coins if a referral account (one time reward).

Go to report view.
1) Report: AFK bot farming XP
2) Avoid
3) Disconnect

In general don't play on a least medium difficulty level.
Those bots use simple scripting, move forward W and jump form time to time.

Yet Anti-cheat cant get around this. 😂🤣🤩
