Yep. Gets worse after every update

Yes. [99%] hell FTL
It's better than ever for me.
I still get the occasional crash, but no hitching, and shaders load faster than ever, jumping from 75% to 100%.

Good for you, I get 100-120 fps until randomly I get fps drops down to 1-2 fps for long periods of time. Happened during ranked today. Makes the game unplayable

Only playable on lowest settings.
As soon as one option goes to medium the smooth 120fps plummets to a choppy 40-60.
The game is unplayable suddenly. I was running it on ultra with zero hitches and suddenly I can only play on low to even be able to aim without frame drops. If anyone finds a fix I'm dying to hear it.

Folks, lock your FPS to 60. Or, don't and keep having issues, IDC.
My 4090 laptop is doing just fine with the 34" 1080p 265Hz external monitor :lunar2019piginablanket:

(locked to 60fps because I don't want it to burn second time :lunar2019madpig:)

This. UE5 is AWFUL at consistently handling things beyond 60FPS without issues.

Yeah, I don’t even understand why they choose this engine if they make cartoonishly backward graphics in the game?

Because at 60 FPS the engine does very, VERY well and can render over 100,000 interactive objects on the screen at once. I can pick a single tree from miles away in a UE5 game and go straight to that tree. That's functionally impossible on other engines at present.

I'm more shocked at the security. Cheats are getting through, but they're getting detected left and right. I guess all that Great Firewall practice paid off?

But if I had to guess, it was probably for the destructible environments gimmick. That's supoosed to be another thing this engine handles well and I have no complaints on that (except if you place your Punisher turret just right, the debris can sometimes block an opponent from hitting you under the right conditions).

I've been seeing people say that the game is "supposed" to be running better since season 1 dropped but it's been getting worse for me as well I'm dropping from 150-20 fps in a second and it's been horrendous for me. and cannot play competitive and it's frustrating to try and enjoy this game.
Sum Dude Jan 25 @ 3:42am
Limited to 60 fps, did absolutely nothing I still see stutters down to 1-2 fps, so I might as well enjoy the extra 40-60 fps while the game isn't dropping down to 1-2 fps. As BrTh3r mentioned it also happens during ranked games, which makes it completely unplayable, as odds are you will play strategist and get 1 fps during a team fight, meaning you can't heal your teammates and they report you for throwing. Speaking from experience.
