EOMM is still in R&D.
If you type in "What games use EOMM" all you get is Theory posts and Papers on its Development. If you add List, all you get is
"It discusses the EOMM model using variable inputs such as churn rate to optimize player retention, and discusses similarities to SBMM."
Over and Over again.
That's why you see teams full of ♥♥♥♥ters and quitters. Turns out if you put toxic people all on the same team, they're AMAZINGLY BAD AT IT!
Team games require team coordination. Toxic people don't know how to coordinate at ALL. No decent player wants that on their team; it's demoralizing and makes people quit. Toxicity in-match is a leading driver of playerbase shrinkage.
You can't stop toxic people from playing a F2P game. But you CAN, apparently, put them on the same team so that they have no choice but to screw themselves over instead of regular, well-behaved, team-oriented players.
(EDIT: For example, look at the original post here. "I didn't like the way things were going so I'm just supposed to give up and throw, right?"
OP was on the correct team. That's where OP was supposed to be. System, in that instance, worked.)
You do not go for 10 wins in a row or 10 losses in a row, when you are at the rank you are supposed to be, and more over you do not get matched with litteral afk brain people that often.
As for a solution, play with friends. Your odds are much better when you have synergy and comms with your team.
What dishonorable and greedy Developer would admit, to cheat his (gullible and narrow-minded) Customers ?!
How Wannabe-Players with absolutely Zero Skill have to keep telling themselves this...
Reality is often harmful to this breed of player, because their whole argument exists as an attempt to insulate fragile egos from the truth: They're not as good as other games tried to make them look like they were, back in the era of participation trophies for all.
Toxic players are upset that regular players won't be able to carry them as much in a system like this, because the toxics are all put together and -- surprise, surprise -- can't work as a team and get their lunch money stolen.
But :
Not everyone wants to be paired with a Bunch of absolutely Zero-Skill, headless EOMM-Lemmings.
A real Player would like to play the Game, but that's not possible = Waste of time and leave.
uninstall and play something better , true true
