Definitely clunky rn but game and the 4 heros are the main focus, Overwatch made lucioball when they hadn't made heros in like a year, rivals is adding 4 it's first season and launched with like 40 new heros.
It was not as bad as I initially thought it would be. After you get a hang of it it kinda easy, and somewhat fun, but maybe 3 games in a row per day, that's it.
Fortunately you can get painting credits by doing regular "weekly" challenges.
