Mic no longer working since a few days

Hey folks, posting here as a last resort.

About 3 days ago, Marvel Rivals stopped responding to my microphone push to talk inputs. As far as I can tell this started completely randomly as I made no software or hardware changes. I can hear people fine, but the game isn't picking up anything I say anymore. My microphone works fine in other games and Discord.

I've tried re-installing the game several times, restoring settings to default, re-configuring settings, double checking Windows audio settings, opened firewall inbound and outbound communications for the executable file, and reached out to support (which resulted in them forwarding my issue to the devs but provided no solutions). I've even tried to post on Reddit, but they just deleted my post (which was a copy of this one).

This is making competitive play impossible especially as support. Hopefully someone reads this and happens to have had a similar experience and perhaps knows the solution? I'm completely out of ideas and feel forced to quit the game if I can't find a solution. :(

Funnily enough the thought did cross my mind, but I never said anything offensive, never raged, etc. Plus if you get such a ban, won't the game inform you about it?

I believe you, if you want to be sure make a new account and test the voice chat, if works then they ban you, maybe auto ban so you have to make a support ticket.

I got many voice chat ban in Overwatch even tho i have no mic, my Headset doesn't have mic lol but people report me because they know voice chat ban is auto ban, shame on them.

Well that confirms it, no ban. Seem to be a very weird technical issue.

With no further ideas, all I can hope for at this point is that the issue magically vanishes the same way it suddenly appeared.
