Enough with the Ragebait posts

Everytime I enter these forums I get disappointed in the community. Diversity this, diversity that; LGBTQ this, LGBTQ that; racism this, racism that; unrealistic women this, unrealistic woman that. Do y'all actually not have anything better to do with your lives than to create posts to farm engagement and bait reactions? The discussion forums are for conversations about the game's actual content and issues that occur in the gameplay experience, not the political messaging behind the game. And for the people getting farmed for their reactions and engagement, wake up and stop being a sheep. You are doing exactly what the ragebaiters want you to do.

As long as brain damaged locals keep giving them attention, those awful threads will appear again and again. Sadly, steam mods don't care, no matter how many reports you send.

Yep that is unfortunately true. People will keep falling for it, and the threads will stay as the most interacted with threads in the discussion forums. It's so stupid

Steam doesn't moderate game forums, they leave that up to game devs to moderate it all. The people moderating this particular forum obviously don't care people post bait. I've seen some forums where bait post are locked quick though.

Steam mods do moderate this place because you can see people with VALVE tag closing threads on different forums here, it clealry has something to do with the amount of reports. Seems like locals love taking the bait instead of reporting and ignoring fools.

Guess I was misinformed and under the wrong impression. Knowing this I don't understand why many of the threads aren't closed. Most of it's arguments over stuff non-game related. I just read the Community Moderation page on Steamworks and I feel like most bait exceed the "negative opinions or criticisms of the game" part of not deleting post.

this is steams fault for implementing awards, those are all bots farming steam points to sell them, easy fix would be to get rid of all awards. Or at least no awards on forums.

You clearly have no idea what youre talking about, if you think rivals takes no work, they do plenty of stuff different then other games and at least give an alternative to games that got worse and worse over time like OW or Apex, which is great for customers. Just dont play it kid and move on.
