Do you still get competitive rewards after deranking?

Let's say for the majority of the season I'm in Gold ranking, and a few days before the season ends, I played competitive and deranked to silver, will I still get the skin reward for getting to gold in competitive?

Because if so, that might just discouraged me from playing competitive because I'm scared of deranking and lose that skin reward.

I uninstalled. There is no justification to put Bronze III on my lobby and all the enemies are Gold. Never playing any Gatcha/Competitive games ever again.

It says in the competitive rules that you get the rewards based on highest ranked achieved
