FPS issues are getting out of hand

I am seriously getting tired of having to complain about this again, but the FPS drops in this game are HORRENDOUS. Seriously, every update they claim they've "optimized" the game, and the maps, and the environment, etc. And yet after every update they somehow manage to make the performance even WORSE. Now basically every match I play I drop down to 2 fps every 5 seconds and sometimes I just get stuck playing microsoft powerpoint where I get to witness my character dying every 5 powerpoint slides. Please for the love of god ACTUALLY optimize the game to get rid of the insufferable frame drops that make this game basically unplayable. Please NetEase.

Do you freeze randomly during a match too? then by the time you unfreeze you're dead. I thought that was an issue with my pc, but damn, seems everyone is getting that.

I'm terrified to get on today, it sounds even worse.

Yep that is exactly the issue I am experiencing. You are not alone trust me, I've seen others that have the same issue. Doesn't matter the specs either, bro has a 4070 and still got lag spikes. It seems to affect some more than others though

Before i optimized the game in settings, turned some settings off and all, i got the game to run smoothly, before i did any of that, it was the Spider-Zero maps that ran like complete crap, when they dropped the season 1 patch, it's when i started to freeze randomly like that.

Bro i'm so scared to get on, things seem way worse with today's patch, ughhh.. They need to fix this already.

Today's patch removed all the lag spikes I was having that mostly occurred when people Ulted.
The game is running better than it ever has before.

They allegedly fixed the less damage bug, however the rest of the problems still remain.

Turn off the nvidia reflex/latency setting if you are crashing, it causes crashing to me.
Also, I've been playing the game on its lowest settings.
Anything other than the lowest settings has FPS drops. I try higher settings after each update when they claim "le optimizatione", but zero improvement.

Damn you have a really high end CPU, 64 GB of DDR5 RAM, PCIe gen 5 NVMe SSD and a good graphics card, and still you have performance issues. Just shows how problematic the optimization really is.

please try this, go to your Library and right click Marvel, then click Properties then install files, then Verify integrity of game files.
do it when the game is closed.

16.0 GB DDR4
3060TI
1.5 TB NMVE

And the only time I get any kind of lag is when I am playing dive characters and a lot of ults are going off at the same time all around me. Sometimes it takes an extra 3 seconds to load on changing characters during a match.

Only thing I did was use the in game optimization. It put everything on high. I made sure blur, screen shake and shadows are off.

I expect this though my PC is 8 years old expect the video card I went from a 1080TI to the 3060TI. Everything else in it is old.
I do have my PC hard wired into my router though I do not game on wireless. Even if you have the best plan with 5Gb up/down set up, if you are wireless you are never going to achieve that kind of speeds continuously.

I think some people just got lucky and do not experience the same issues, that's why not everyone is complaining. As for it being "our setups" that are the issue, Complete bs. I've talked to people with high end specs that still have the same issue. A game that has this many players and looks this graphically mid should not have this amount of performance issues. Just because the game is performing okay for you, does not mean it performs well for everyone else. Get out of your bubble.
