How do you counter punisher's turret?

A lot of trying different heroes and different abilities have not had any good effect. I tried googling but the results are useless and unrelated. It has incredibly low cooldown and high health and insane damage output and outside of using an ult on it I've not found any reliable way to get rid of it. Any wisdoms someone can share?

Storm ult. Kills the turret, slows Punisher, and wipes him and everyone around him in seconds if any healers around him do not have their ults ready. You just gotta have an exit strategy to survive once your ult timer runs out. Yes, just pick a top tier, fill your entire meter, then walk through the entire enemy team and hope they don't shoot you TWICE
If you're going to counter him with an ult Loki can just teleport to him instantly and use any high damage ult, Psylocke can stealth walk in, Groot can stun him, Iron Man just 1 shots him from half the map away, etc

Honestly, entirely depends on the positioning. Played a lot of mind games with Punishers using Storm ult. Destroying the turret is an option. Not a requirement. If he knows he might die, he will usually get up and leave, which achieves the same objective of having destroyed the turret.

I won't say it's an OP ability but it does give him way too much extra health. And you basically have to be asleep to get ganked by a melee before you can shred them with the turret.
I'm surprised a lot of people missed it's biggest weakness, it can't shoot directly above or below him. It's got a min and max Y axis for it's aim. So there's basically a deadzone that you can get into where he can't shoot you.
Squirrel Girl is a good counter for it, find an angle you can safely bounce and hit it from and spam away until it's down. Even better if after you can rush around and snag Punisher with your root and blast him in the face. Or if there's a wall nearby you can bounce and shred Punisher himself instead.
