I feel this.
Sunday I had an 8 loss streak when I was 1 game away from Plat.
Kept losing various games following, yesterday I went on an 11 game loss streak. Now I went from 1 win off of Plat all the way down the Gold 3 in 3 days.

It's ridiculous how many terrible teammates there are out there. Sure, there were a few games that I could have done better in, but the much majority of them I was not even close to being the problem. SVP several times, on tank I blocked a ton, as DPS I would have highest damage KOs and final hits, as support I'd have massive healing and heal priority.
But keep losing.

The only time I have lost 8 in a row is no joke when I was throwing games.

its a mxied bag, sometimes i get a good team which steamrolls the enemy, othertimes i get matched with level 10s and the enemy team got multiple level 50's etc

because of the loss prevention you can climb with a 50% or even sub 50% winrate. I'm not very good but i got to gold just playing whichever hero i'd die the least on or a dps that doesn't need to aim like moonknight. if ur constantly losing then you're doing something wrong.

Loser's queue and winner's queue have been 100% proven to be a real thing. If you're on a large loss streak look at the match history of your teammates and you'll notice they're all on loss streaks too. Vice versa applies for winning streaks. Absolutely garbage system to inflate playtime as well as a crappy way of "testing" you to see if you can move up to the next rank faster if you're able to carry even the most garbage teams at your rank (works at the lower ranks, doesn't at plat and above it's just pure punishment).

I was diamond 1 last season with ease. I take a few weeks off and am now gold. I cannot get out of gold. Call me ♥♥♥♥ but I am solo quing and doing well...yet still losing. Team games are just not fun anymore. no stack...no fun

its not you, seems like the studio didnt learn from overwatch and they haven't thought about stacks in competitive and have no solution for it either, if they dont get on that this game will die fast.

I think Loser's / Winner's queue is a state of mind. When I go on tilt I lose more and when I play the hot hand I win more. As a personal rule now, I stop after 3 wins or 3 losses in comp to take a break.

So addicted to this game! :)
