Ya bronze 3, first games played...... Ive gotten SVP 3-4x I believe, still only 2 wins. Eventually something has to change..... right?
it will trake longer if you are playing solo. but if you are flexible with your hero choices, play all roles. you will rank up in time.
This guy covers a bit of why more serious level players generally succeed in ranked matches, doing things a lot of people I feel who jump into ranked don't do and then don't understand why they're not making any real progress in it:

Generally though, in more serious play you're going to want to think a bit different then a typical player would do during a more casual friendly game if you want to succeed. To do things you wouldn't normally do to be able to understand, correct and even push yourself to lead to succeeding.
I think people often go "I did well a few times here, I should be able to do the same in ranked, no problem!" and then they get destroyed and get frustrated and just toss their hands in the air instead of actually trying to figure out why and what could be done to improve. Then they continue doing the same things over and over and eventually leave because they can never actually climb.
