Man I just like living life going with the flow but why am I losing in everything while making no real decisions....

Competitive game without placement matches was certainly a choice.
In Bronze and Silver you should be able to climb, albeit slower than other ranks. Not because you aren't making good plays, good positioning or mechanical skills. It is honestly your teammates making horrific decisions.
When I watch higher levels of gameplay in Rivals... I just sigh because I know I could hang with them and perform much better than I am in lower ELO. The tempo of the game is so much more in a sense "relaxed". People are more calculated in their play. In lower ELO you get hit with so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that would never work in higher ranks because you would never think that a person with an understanding of the game would do.
I just think comparing lower and higher ELOs is like comparing apples and oranges tbh. There are different ways you have to play. Lower ELOs are just chaotic and unpredictable where higher ELOs are much more deliberate and calculated.
The one thing in that video that is the most important to get out of it is... STATS DON'T MATTER. This is a massive problem in low ELO. People chase to get that dopamine hit of a kill while leaving themselves and their teammates and/or the objective vulnerable. I have had a lot of games where we have the highest person on the team with 10 kills and we blew the enemy out. Why? Because we controlled the objective and the space. We didn't really need to kill them a lot because they couldn't figure out how to get to the objective without feeling safe to do so. Someone would poke up and get killed the the team would back away. This is a lesson that a lot of bronze/silver/gold players NEED to learn and they will get a lot more success out of their games.
So why do you keep bringing it up?
