Disconnection before match begins- fixes after reconnect

For the past week, I have been constantly disconnecting from matches while in spawn during the select character phase. I sit idle for about 30-40 seconds, then i am forced out of the game, back to the main menu screen. I then reconnect and all is well afterwards. I don't understand why I am disconnecting though. I am playing on an ssd, ethernet, and gpu debug is on. my graphics are pretty low, and my computer is relatively higher-end compared to most. Does anyone else experience this?
