Penny Parker is actually one of the most annoying characters to have to face

she can place mines and put down a spider nest that shoots more mines out on the webbing and the webbing gives her an additional 150 Health when she's on it so in order to beat her you need to destroy her spider nest but she's just going to put it behind a wall or something

yeah I think this is pretty fair I think you should be able to get your health bar deleted by things you can't see or destroy

The mines are fully destroyable, they have like 1 hp, and a trigger delay so you can get out of the way. The spider bots from the nest (which are distinct from the mines) dont do a lot of damage, and are slow to reproduce, but it is nice when a squishy drops into a fully loaded nest.

Peni is good at defending a point, but that is basically it. Strange and magneto can phisically shield the backline, thor, hulk, and venom can dive and harass, while peni is a turret pretty much. Bear in mind her nest has a pretty long cooldown if it gets destroyed, her mines are only invisible when they are inside a web, and can always be destroyed by any projectile. It can be a pain in the ass to break the nest when it is hidden in a weird angle, but a single venom can destroy it while ignoring peni's damage and get out safely. i don't think peni is bad, I personally enjoy playing her, but in my experience facing her she's hardly oppressive. In fact the most annoying part of her kit is her s2 imo.

Dive the other tanks, shoot past Peni. She literally can't stop you. She's a complete non-threat at range.

She can spawn webs every 3 seconds with RMB and also spawn more with F. She has literally no reason not to do this. You can't break these webs. Her shift doesn't actually matter.

Peni is pretty low on the list of problems. The only truly terrible characters to face off against are Mr. Fantastic and Squirrel girl.

Fantastic has (lets call it what it is) armor lock. It was annoying and killed the flow in Halo and it does the same thing in Rivals.

Squirrel girl does disgusting damage without having to aim and it seems like she gets to ult every 30 seconds. If she's in a game I know I'm going to hear SQUIRREL STAMPEDE like 10 times. Her mega jump is also annoying to deal with.

I've never died to a Peni and felt cheated. When I die to a SG or Mr. F, I ALWAYS feel cheated because their kits are literally designed to make you feel like you got robbed/unlucky.

Why does Squirrel gain ult so fast
Last time I fought her she did like 5 ults in the same time other characters were doing 1 or 2. Thankfully her ult is ass.

i play peni sometimes and the amount times ppl ignring the nest makes "SPIDERS GET THE JOB DONE."

Yeah webs make mines indestructible and invisbile but competent person should be aware of that atleast.
I would prefer to keep f either for sustain, good enough before u spawn the nest, dive someone being low or use that ability to escape. Mind tho she can climb walls. Cuz most peni players dont know that apparently.

you can shoot the mines. she is really fun but i wouldnt call her op. There are some strats you can do that are good, like making paths with your webs so your mines can travel. If you have lyour nest around a corner, have like 50 mines hidden out of sight near your nest, you can lay webs to connect them especially with her ult, and as soon as someone touches the webs all of those mines do about 100 damage each. So you can also basically throw all your mines behind a wall, and put your nest down near them while someone tries to fight you, putting the nest near them drags all the mines AND makes 4 new mines almost instantly. you get 3 webs. you can cover way more than just the point in webs even without her ult. Once she ults you can drag those mines literally from the point all the way to the enemy spawn doors if you really wanted to and it is an very deadly strategy. she isnt playing the same game as other characters, she is playing bomberman. her LMB attacks get headshots, they do good damage vs non tanks so anyone saying she isnt a threat at range has obv never faces one who can aim because her unlimited ammo and range means you are basically hit scanning people with no distance limit. She is great at fending off pushes, but once you past her and her mines she is back to square 1 and yeah at that point her dps is too low she has to retreat as she has no shields, her mobility is like pretty good but only if you have F available

there is so much more you can do. she is cracked if you know how to use her. literally toss 2 mines at ANY squishy, web them, and shoot them once in the head. they die. it takes 1 second. its a one second ttk. thats not even scratching the surface of how nasty she is.
