Skill Issue on your end.
If you're performing well you will climb.
If you want you can share your in game name and I can check you on a tracker. I'm sure you're not perform well on a consistent basis. Last person I did this to claimed they were doing their job but they really were not (Healer was in front of tanks, doing about 10k healing/10min and dying a lot. You could share some video replay codes, I won't watch them but someone might.
Thanks for constructive feedback.
Skill will help you climb, agreed. But honestly it's a bit RNG if you're not really good or premade due to the skill ranges in gold.
Where my team is averaging 5-10 kills a game, while enemy team is 40+. And sometimes vise versa.
This is not fully a skill issue, there is absolutely something wrong with Matchmaking players into equal player skill lobbies.
We have probably 2.5kd teams going against ~1.0kd teams. There is a huge imbalance here. Especially against premades that are all good.
If I had to bet, there's also a way to cheat the system and go against lower level lobbies by bringing a newbies bronze/silver into your team while you're gold/plat.
But I'm "Lord Syn", and I don't claim to be a god at the game. Just looking to get out of Gold, as I hear people actually try. Check my games on 21st where I experienced the absolute worst lose streak.
In Gold I get... "I'm super high and drunk right now, carry me. lul" over the mic...
While this will help, it doesn't take away the fact matchmaking does not go based on skill, just rank, which leave a HUGE skill gap inside of gold.
I've heard it's better on the other side, maybe I'll see one day. I was 2 wins away from plat before my 10 loss streak due to RNG and some bad games by me. They just came in perfect sync it seemed to knock me down.
Peak hours seem to be when most premades and goofy non-premades play, so that seems to be a recipe for bad solo queuing.
qp it's win rate time played is not considered at all
Ranked gold silver and bronze are all the same rank they made plat / gm attainable with 30% win rate people cracking top 500 with just a 50% win rate....
Majority of players are completely clueless as to what they should be doing will probably be that way for a long time.
I don't bother with ranked because the resets are too often making the ranks meaningless you will find dross that got mostly carried all the way up to GM I'd imagine.
1 last thing if you are getting tilted stop and go into qp learn to chill while you play you'll play better just for not being a rage monkey.
How do you explain that?
he cant explain it, he just wanted to brag.
I'm calling bull. You cannot gain MMR if you do not win. You can not single hand "carry" as a healer against a team full of "better" everything. Please enlighten me who did your carry lmao?
I can expect more of a very popular game to create better options for Solo players, and players in general.
Yea, I get ya. I was just feeling a competitive game at the moment, and this one is fun, but they could do better, and we should expect better.
Streamers acting like it's good need to get on board so they actually do something about it, problem is... this game benefits streamers and full groups, so naturally they wont change it. Sad.

Hmm, good post. Sad for gamers.
Let me put on my readers while I type this next part...
Halo 2 had THE BEST, from what I remember, matchmaking back in the day. Wish that was here for all the newer generations to experience.
