Marvel Rivals shouldn't be free! If the developers charged people to purchase Marvel Rivals then the company would make more money, game development would speed up & more & better content would be added! Marvel Rivals should cost at least $49.99!

They try to skewer whales that spend 5,000 dollars on the game not average players they do this because it makes money

And also it would make people cheating less convenient. I agree with you. Every marvel rivals problem could be solved with this.

I honestly would be fine paying a one time subscription.
As long as the kiddies and the internet trash are locked out of the game.
It's a win win situation if you ask me

whats "better game content" exactly? ow1 made tons of money and the one thing us day 1 players wanted was some semblance of a story mode. the most we ever got was time locked events/game modes that disappeared once the event was over. all your doing is trying to convince them to be more greedy by forcing ppl to buy a game that started as f2p. again ow1 was p2p, then it went f2p, then it went "we need your phone number to make sure you arent smufing and we pinky promise not to use THAT to make money"

More money only brings the potential for a better game! If the developers do the wrong things then the game could be bad with or without money! But without money there is no potential for improvement!

so buy their skins instead of trying to punish others who may or may not be able to afford that price tag...also thats a common trope that "more money=more development" not always true and it doesnt always mean itll be better as a result of said "development". i.e ME: andromeda, dragon age failguard, or even concord.. concord had almost 10 mill for "development" and 8 yrs in the works and it died in two weeks.. if you want to support the devs maybe put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is..

Had you ever played previous NetEase Games?

Most of their games are unknown.

And games similar to Marvel Rivals are free.

Devs will make more money over time selling skins then selling the game at a base price.
Oh also if you buy a game in today's age regardless of the price unless it's a hard copy with a cd you got at the store you don't actually own the game and your access can be revoked for any reason at any time.

There are tonnes of games that actually do invest money for better game content and people would keep supporting. But you should not expect one from a company like neteasegames. For example try out abiotic factor from deep field games. They are one of the best devs out there who actually listen to community and make changes. They even reply to community forums at least if it actually makes sense. Besides what more content do you expect from marvel rivals or any other hero shooter? More heroes/champions? The game will become stale if just hero addition is only the thing that is gonna happen. People have to bring about new game modes. The only thing I have seen in marvel rivals so far is being a rip off from overwatch or paladins. The hero design, the game modes etc all been a rip off. Now that I have played marvel rivals enough for the game to judged, nah man this game doesn't even deserve 5 dollars. A game which gives you bot matches in game modes that you didn't even ask for. A game which forcefully makes you lose just cause you won matches. A game with potato graphics and optimisation. And on top of it the game studio that doesn't care
what players want. All they need is more money. And the skins in the game, is even more trash in my opinion. Nah man no more neteasegames stuff for me.

At least blizzard had developers that knew how to write code and make a game work perfectly.

First let the devs and game studio show the people that they are heading in the right direction, listening to the community. Is neteasegames doing that? Nope. Case closed. No need for the masses to give money for studio that only cares about money. I have seen this happen to another studio called Hirez and their game paladins. They never heard the majority of the players, rather they were going behind streamers and pro players as to how game should be balanced, what more should be added to game etc. They didn't maintain servers, never cared about fixing bugs etc what mattered to the masses playing the game. The only thing they did was push out new maps, new heroes and an go into an endless loop of balancing characters. They couldn't fix some simple bugs for years. And look at where they are now, almost all of their games failed including their new releases like smite 2, rogue company etc. Even overwatch 2 is a good example of not listening to community. And now its marvel rivals turn.

the gooner skins are already making them a lot of money
Smellycat Jan 21 @ 11:37pm
beeing free just means they are less obligated to provide new content and can do it at there own pace without angry customers harassing them .. seems pretty smart to me
